The Opportunity
Founding supporters sustain the expansion of the IRF Roundtable and empower the launch of the Civil Society Collaborative, its Joint Planning & Development Process, and its Shared Initiatives.
The expansion of the IRF Roundtable — the proven multi-faith model through which people of all faiths and beliefs engage each other across their deepest differences and take action together, as equal citizens — and the launch of the Civil Society Collaborative for Religious Freedom, Peace & Prosperity, which is needed to meet the persistent attacks on religious freedom globally.
Through a Joint Planning & Development Process, the Collaborative develops the strategies that guide Shared Initiatives — each a Community of Practice and Culture of Philanthropy (CoP²) — translating principles and declarations into multi-faith collaborations in the public square.
The Global Peace & Prosperity Initiative is carried forward by a founding partnership of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, with the MENA region as an early focal point. Its initial output is an 18-month plan that becomes the catalyst for 3-year and 5-year plans — short-, mid-, and long-term horizons that pose one proactive challenge to faith communities, governments, and the business community alike: Where do you want to be in 18 months, 3 years, and 5 years — and how will you get there?
All faith communities, civil society organizations, academic institutions, corporations, and philanthropies are invited to opt in.
